Initiated, funded and co-created by the European Commission, EU TalentOn is a brainstorming event happening in the European City of Science Katowice 2024. EU TalentOn was launched as a part of the 2022 Europen Year of Youth.
EU TalentOn is a competition for young researchers representing all disciplines of science, aged between 21 and 35.

EU TalentOn is a programme addressed to researchers who are willing to bring modern ideas into one of the five missions of the European Union, including: adaptation to climate change, cancer prevention and cancer patient care, ocean and water restoration, smart cities and transition towards healthy soils.
Each prize will be divided equally among each person in the winning team.

The EU TalentOn call for proposals starts in April, 2024. There are three stages of evaluation:
The chosen participants will be divided into teams that will challenge the five mission areas of Horizon Europe.
The EU TalentOn Finale will be held between 9 and 14 September, 2024 in Katowice.
